Nozzle Installation - Diametrical Path
A
diametrical signal path
is one in which the ultrasonic signal between the two transducers travels along a diameter of
the pipe (see
below). Typically, the transducers are located at the 3 o’clock and 9 o’clock positions, when
viewed from the downstream end of the pipe.
