Agitate/Idle Position
Note:
Wax motor not energized for agitate mode; the shifter fork is held in the upward position by the fork
spring that releases the drive gear that controls power to the spin tube. In this mode, all power is delivered to
the transmission agitator shaft.

Note:
Wax motor energized for spin mode; the wax motor receives 120 VAC from the control and the lid lock
system. The expansion of the wax in the thermoactuator presses on the shifter fork which in turn engages
the drive gear for the transmission spin tube.
