Image files can be stored in the Visual iQ or a detachable device. The
Quick-Save
feature stores a file with a default name and file type in a default directory
to learn more about setting default file names, types, and directories).
Alternatively,
use the
Save Options Menu
.

– Short press of this hard key to
Quick Save
the displayed image in the default directory.
A long press of this key opens the
Save Options Menu
.

– At all times, the intended saving location (in this case the Dev directory located on
the D drive) is listed here. After a file is stored, the status bar at the top of the screen
indicates “
Saved
.” The file name (described below) and format are also listed.

– While in the process of assigning an alternative name or destination for the image
file, the status bar at the top of the screen indicates “
Saving
.”

– Choose an alternative directory into which the file will be stored.
Note: Tap and open the target folder

– Tap to complete the target directory selection.

– Select to
Rename
the file prior to saving. The virtual keyboard opens.

– Select to choose from numeric characters or symbols.

– Tap after typing the desired name.

– The status bar now indicates the new target directory (in this case,
TestImages
) and
the new file name (
Trial 1
).

– Tap to complete the saving process.

– The status bar now indicates that the file has been “
Saved
