Using Your Double Oven
Your double oven is designed
to give best results in baking,
roasting and broiling when used
as recommended.
Before using your double oven,
look at the directions in this book
for setting the electronic controls.
Then open the oven and take note
of the abbreviated instructions on
the inside of the door. Look at the
shelves. Take a practice run at
removing and replacing them.
And, while you’re at it, locate the
broil unit at the top of each oven
and bake unit just off each oven
floor.
The light comes on automatically
when an oven door is opened.
Touch OVEN LIGHT pads
control panels to turn the lights on
and off when the doors are closed.
Oven Shelves
The shelves are designed with
stop-locks. When you
them
correctly on the supports, they’ll
stop before coming completely
out of the oven. What’s more, they
will not tilt when you’re removing
food or when you are placing food
on them.
To remove shelves from the oven,
make sure they’re cool. Then lift
up the rear of the shelf and pull it
forward with the stop-locks along
the top of the shelf support.
To replace shelves in the oven,
insert the shelf with stop-locks
resting on the shelf supports. Push
shelf toward rear of oven until it
falls into place. When shelf is in
proper position, stop-locks on shelf
will run
the shelf support
when the shelf is pulled forward.
