Special Features of your Self-Clean Oven Contro l
Your new electronic oven control has additional special features that you may choose to use. Once selected, these special
features remain in the control's memory (even after a power failure), or until they are re-programmed. The special feature
modes can only be activated when the clock is displaying the time of day.
The following are the special features and how to select them:
Fahrenheit or Celsius oven temperature
selection
Your oven control is set to display the oven temperature
in degrees fahrenheit, but you may change it to use
degrees celsius.
1. Press the
BAKE
button.
2. Press the
UP/DOWN ARROW
button to set any
temperature other than 550˚F or 290˚C.
3. Before the flashing
‘BAKING INDICATOR’
stops
flashing, press and hold the
BAKE
button for seven
seconds. (Either
“F”
or
“C”
will be displayed.)
4. Press the
UP ARROW
button for degrees F, or the
DOWN ARROW
button for degrees C.
5. Five seconds after the
UP/DOWN ARROW
button has
been pressed for the last time, the desired selection
will be saved and the display will revert back to the
time of day.
Signal at the end of a timed operation
At the end of a timed operation, the control will signal
once that the timed event has ended. In addition, the
control can be programmed to give a one second signal
every 30 seconds for an additional 10 minutes after the
timed operation.
1. Press
BROIL
button.
2. Press the
UP ARROW
button.
3. Before the
‘BROIL INDICATOR’
stops flashing, press
and hold the
BROIL
button for seven seconds. (Either
“ON”
or
“OFF”
will be displayed.)
4. Press the
UP ARROW
button to display
“ON”
if you
want the control to signal every 30 seconds for 10
minutes after a timed operation.
5. Press the
DOWN ARROW
to display
“OFF”
if you want
the control to signal once at the end of a timed
operation.
6. Five seconds after the
UP/DOWN ARROW
button has
been pressed for the last time, the desired selection
will be saved and the display will revert back to the
time of day.
Automatic shut-off after 12 hours of baking
The control has been programmed to continue to bake
(without automatic shut-off), once the baking operation
has started. It can be programmed to bake for a
maximum of 12 hours and then automatically shut-off.
1. Press
BROIL
button.
2. Press the
DOWN ARROW
button.
3. Before the
‘BOIL INDICATOR’
stop flashing, press and
hold the
BROIL
button for seven seconds. (Either
“ON”
or
“OFF”
will be displayed.)
4. Press the
UP ARROW
button to display
“ON”
for
automatic shut-off of the oven after 12 hours of
baking.
5. Press the
DOWN ARROW
button to display
“OFF”
for
no automatic shut-off after 12 hours of baking. (Broil
will still shut-off automatically after 12 hours.)
6. Five seconds after the
UP/DOWN ARROW
button has
been pressed for the last time, the desired selection
will be saved and the display will revert back to the
time of day.
Oven temperature too hot or too cold
You may find that your new oven cooks differently than
the one it replaced. We recommend that you use you new
oven for a few weeks to become familiar with it before
making any changes.
However, if you think that the oven temperature of your
new oven is too hot or too cool, you can increase or
decrease the oven baking temperature by 35˚F (20˚C).
1. Press the
BAKE
button.
2. Press the
UP ARROW
button until the display shows
the maximum temperature
550˚F (290˚C).
3. While the
‘BAKE INDICATOR’
is still flashing, press
and hold the
BAKE
button for seven seconds until
“00”
is displayed (indicating no temperature offset).
4. Press the
UP ARROW
button to increase the oven
temperature by up to 35˚F (20˚C).
5. Press the
DOWN ARROW
button to decrease the oven
temperature by up to -35˚F (-20˚C).
6. Five seconds after the
UP/DOWN ARROW
button has
been pressed for the last time, the desired selection
will be saved and the display will revert back to the
time of day.
Child Lock-Out
The timer can be disabled to prevent accidental use of the
oven.
1. Press
OFF
and
START TIME
for 3 seconds.
2.
OFF
will be displayed
3. Press
OFF
and
START TIME
for 3 seconds to re-activate
timer.
