How to start Baking immediately with automatic

s h u t - o ff

The oven control can be set to start immediately and cook for a
selected length of time. At the end of the selected cooking time,
the control will beep, and the oven will turn off automatically.

1. Press the 

B A K E

button. (The green 

B A K E

indicator light will

start flashing and 

“ 0 0 0 ”

will be displayed.)

2. Press the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

buttons. (“350” will be

d i s p l a y e d . )

3. Continue to press the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

buttons until the

desired baking temperature is shown (i.e. 375).

4. Press the 

COOK TIME

button. (The green 

COOK TIME 

i n d i c a t o r

light will start flashing and 

“ 0 : 0 0 ”

will be displayed.)

5. Press the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

button until the desired cooking

time is selected (i.e. 3:00 for a three hour bake before
automatic shut-off ) .

6. Five seconds after the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

button has been

pressed for the last time, the 

COOK TIME

indicator will stop

flashing, the 

‘OVEN ON’

light will come on and the 3 hour

baking will start. (The display will show the time remaining
before automatic shut-off . )

7. To check or change the baking temperature while the count-

down time is displayed during baking, press the 

B A K E

b u t t o n

and 

UP/DOWN ARROW

button as necessary. Press the 

C O O K

T I M E

button to return to the count down display.

8. At the end of the selected bake time, the control will beep, the

oven will shut-off and 

“ E N D ”

will be displayed.

9. Press the 

O F F

button to return to the clock display.

How to set delay start and automatic stop

The oven control can be set to turn the oven on
automatically at some time within the next 12 hours,
cook for a specific length of time, and then turn off.

For example:

Let’s say it is 1:00 and dinner time is
shortly after 7:00. The recipe suggests 3
hours baking time at 375˚F.

Here is how to set the control:

1. Press the 

BAKE

button. (

“000”

will be displayed and

the 

‘BAKE’

indicator will flash.)

2. Press the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

buttons until the bake

temperature of 375 is displayed.

3. Press the 

COOK TIME

button. (

“0:00”

and the ‘

COOK

TIME’

indicator will flash.)

4. 

Press the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

buttons until the

desired bake time 3:00 is displayed.

5. Press the 

START TIME

button. (The current time of

1:00 will be displayed and the 

‘START TIME’

indicator light will flash.)

6. Press the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

buttons until the start

time of 4:00 is reached.

7. Five seconds after the 

UP/DOWN ARROW

button

has been pressed for the last time, the 

‘START TIME’

indicator light will stop flashing and the desired
selections will be saved.

At 4:00 the oven will turn on automatically, and the

‘OVEN ON’

light will come on. The oven will cook for

3 hours at 375˚F, then shut-off automatically at 7:00.
The control will beep and the display will show

“END”

to indicate that the timed cooking has been

completed.

8. Press the 

OFF

button to return to the clock display.

NOTE: Any time after the control is set, the settings can

be checked as follows:

– to display the selected bake temperature, press

the 

BAKE

button.

– to display the selected bake time, press the

COOK TIME

button

– to display the selected start time, press the

START TIME

button.

– to display the current time, press the 

CLOCK

button.

Broiling

The control may be set to broil foods at a 

“HIGH”

or

“LOW”

heat setting. The control will remain at the

selected heat setting until the 

OFF

button is pressed. An

automatic shut-off of the oven after 3 hours of broiling
can be selected as described under SPECIAL FEATURES
OF THE OVEN CONTROL.

Do not lock the oven door during baking or broiling.

How to broil

1. Leave the oven door open at the 

‘BROIL STOP’

position

during broiling.

2. Press the 

BROIL

button. (

000

will be displayed and the

“BROIL”

indicator light will flash.)

3. Press the 

UP ARROW

for 

“HI”

broil, or the 

DOWN

ARROW

for 

“LO”

broil. (Use 

“LO”

setting to

thoroughly cook foods such as chicken or thick chops
without over-browning.)

4. Five seconds after the 

ARROW

button has been pressed

for the last time, the 

‘BROIL’

indicator light will stop

flashing, the 

‘OVEN ON’

light will come one and

broiling will begin.

5. Turn the food only once during broiling, at times

recommended in the broiling guide.

6. When broiling is finished, press the 

OFF

button to

revert back to the clock display.
