NOTE:
If you select

, the system answers after the second ring if there are new messages, or
after the fourth ring if there is no new message. This allows you to check your system to see if there are new
messages before incurring toll charges.
Message Alert
When this feature is activated and there are new messages, the telephone base
beeps every 15 seconds.
The default setting is Off.
