The VSR Keyboard Menu Bar
The following menus are available on the menu bar.
The File Menu
The file menu contains the exit command. Click on this command to exit the VSR Keyboard. You can also exit
by holding down the Ctrl key and pressing x (Ctrl-X).
The Tools Menu
The tools menu contains the options window. This tabbed window has commands for automatically
discovering units on you network and adding them to the drop-down address list.

The Ethernet Settings tab contains commands for obtaining and storing a VSR’s ethernet information. You can
also ping the unit, reboot the unit, and launch the web page. When this window first appears only the
Read
and
Reboot
buttons are enabled.
Note:
To read a unit’s ethernet information and populate the ethernet fields you must be connected to a PC by RS232. See
WebServer
on page 57.
Click on the
Read
button. If you are connected by RS232 the unit’s ethernet information should populate the
ethernet fields and the other buttons should be enabled.
