EQUIREMENTS

 

 

 

-  

The operator can be connected to a suitable 240v a.c 10A power circuit provided it is done so by 

licensed person and rules in AS/NZS 3000:2007 are adhered to. 

-  Solar power can be used to power the operator instead of connecting 240v.  This unit can be supplied set 
up for use with solar power, or by removing the 240vac transformer and following wiring set up for solar 
connection.   

-  The power supply transformer can be removed and installed in an IP rated enclosure and mounted away 
from the gate operator.  This is done sometimes where mains power is not available or it is impractical to 
run mains power to the site.  The operator can be supplied with a separate power supply upon special order.  
Then all that is run to the operator is 2 x 2.5mm wires to carry 16vac (extra low voltage).
