Chapter 4: Using Multimedia

Using Nero Express

You can use Nero Express to copy tracks from a music CD to your hard drive, copy or
create data CDs and DVDs, create music CDs, create video DVDs, and more.

Important

We recommend that you do not use your computer for other tasks
while creating CDs or DVDs.

Important

If you record copyrighted material on a CD or DVD, you need
permission from the copyright owner. Otherwise, you may be violating
copyright law and be subject to payment of damages and other
remedies. If you are uncertain about your rights, contact your legal
advisor.

Important

Some CDs have copy protection software. You cannot create MP3
files from these CDs and you may not be able to listen to these CDs
on your computer.

Tips & Tricks

If your computer does not include Nero Express, you can use
Windows XP to create CDs. For more information about creating CDs,
