Using the diskette drive

www.gateway.com

To use a diskette:

Diskettes are marked with an arrow showing which end to insert into a 
diskette drive first. Insert the arrow-marked end of a diskette into the 
diskette drive with the label side facing up. The diskette locks into the drive 
and the diskette eject button pops out.

To access a file on the diskette in Windows XP, click 

Start

, then click 

My 

Computer

. Double-click the drive letter (for example, the A: drive), then 

double-click the file name.

To access a file on the diskette in Windows 2000, double-click the

 icon, the drive letter (for example, the A: drive), then double-click
