Appendix A – Module Adapters for the
VF-25 Voice Module
There are a variety of module adapters that can be installed with the VF-25 voice module. To improve
quality and options, we continue to offer some adapters while designing and developing new ones.
This section covers both the current module adapters and the discontinued ones and gives pin and
jumper locations and other details for each adapter. The VF-25 module must be installed with a
module adapter listed in Table A-1.

A.1 Current Module Adapters
A.1.1 MA-305 Four-wire, 50-pin Connector
The MA-305 module adapter accepts a 50-pin connector, Amphenol 57-30500 or equivalent (Figure
A-1). Table A-2 shows the pin assignments on this connector. Jumpers JMP1 through JMP5 are used to
select the signaling type. Figure A-1 shows how to position the adapter and set the jumpers.
