WARNING:
Ultra sharp blades on the bot-
tom of the filter basket (see picture).
IMPORTANT:
For easier cleaning and to avo-
id discolouration, clean the appliance immedi-
ately after use to avoid accumulation of dried-
on residues of juice or pulp. Immediately after
each use, rinse removable parts in hot water
to remove wet pulp. Otherwise discolouration
of the plastic may occur, if strongly coloured
fruit and vegetables have been juiced.
CLEANING IN THE AUTOMATIC DISHWASHER
Filter surround, juicer cover, filter basket, pulp container and juice jug with juice jug
lid are dishwasher-safe.
CAUTION:
Use a cleaning program to be suited for glasses (low temperature). A
cleaning cycle with high temperature might cause discolouration and distortion of
the plastic parts.
WARNING: Do not place the motor base or power cord in an automa-
tic dishwasher, as this would destroy the electrical safety of the appli-
ance.
CAUTION:
Clean the parts of the appliance on the top shelf only. Plastic parts might
tarnish being frequently cleaned in the dishwasher.
Do not clean the pusher in
the automatic dishwasher.
CLEANING THE MOTOR BASE AND POWER CORD
1. Avoid spilling or dripping any liquid onto the motor base, when wiping the motor
base and power cord with a slightly damp cloth. Then wipe dry. Thereafter, leave
the motor base and power cord dry naturally for approx. 30 minutes, where they
are
out of reach of young children.
2. Please clean the drive coupling regularly (see picture) using a damp cloth.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure that the stainless steel balls of the drive coupling are clean
and free from dried-on residues of juice or pulp. Otherwise the filter basket will not
engage correctly on the drive coupling. After every fifth usage put some petroleum
jelly onto the balls of the drive coupling.
