 The surfaces are liable to get hot

filter holder, filter or steam wand or hold your hands under them. 

Only touch the steam wand by its plastic surfaces.

This appliance is classified as protection class I and must be 

connected to a protective ground.

1.  This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above 

if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the 

appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. 

Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless 

they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its 

cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.

2.  Children shall not play with the appliance.
3.  This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory 

or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they 

have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the 

appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.

4.  Regularly check the power plug and power cord for damage. If the 

supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its

10. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended 

and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.

11. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing 

accessories or approaching parts that move in use.

Never fill the appliance above the maximum level since 

hot foaming coffee or other liquids (e.g. milk) might overflow during 

heating.

conducted by qualified personnel only.

14. Do not pull the power plug out of the electrical outlet by the power 

cord and do not wrap the power cord around the appliance.

They could pose a safety risk to the user and might damage the 

appliance. Only use original parts and accessories.

16. Connect the mains plug to an easily accessible socket, in order 

to quickly disconnect the appliance from the mains supply in an 

emergency.
