7. If required, adjust the sealing time (left display area). For this, touch the arrow
buttons at the right side of the left display area. The vacuum time will be ignored.
NOTE
There is no need to set vacuum time, because you are going to control the vacu-
um pump manually. The vacuum pump will be working, as long as you hold your
finger on the pulse button. When releasing the pulse button, the evacuating pro-
cess stops at once without ventilating the vacuum chamber. You may operate the
vacuum pump continuously, until the desired low pressure is reached or operate
the vacuum pump in short pulses.
8. Hold the pulse button pressed, for operating the vacuum pump. Release the
pulse button to stop operation. If required, repeat this procedure several times.
As long as the pulse button is pressed, the vacuum pump operates, sucking the
air out of the bag.
IMPORTANT - When any liquid or powder starts getting sucked in, immediately
release the pulse button. Then press the stop button, for terminating the entire
process.
The bag will not be sealed. In most cases it is useless, attempting to seal
the bag, when liquid or powder has been sucked into the area of the seal, becau-
se liquids and powder within the sealing area would prevent any airtight sealing.
IMPORTANT -
After the sealing process is finished, the heating bar may be hot.
Avoid touching the heating bar with your skin or any heat-sensitive object. Leave
the appliance cool down for approx. 20 seconds after each sealing process.
NOTE
The appliance stops pumping and seals the bag automatically, when the maximum
low pressure is reached.
9. With the desired low pressure reached, release the pulse button and touch
the seal only button. The sealing process starts and the selected sealing time is
counted down. When the sealing time reaches zero, the appliance ventilates
the vacuum chamber with a hissing noise and releases the lid automatically.
10. Open the lid and remove the sealed bag. If you wish to vacuum seal another
bag, wait some seconds, before starting again with step 3.
11. If you do not wish to use the appliance once more, hold your finger on the stop
button for approx. 3 seconds for switching off the appliance. Then unplug the
appliance from the mains power supply.
12. After usage, clean the appliance (see: ‘Care and Cleaning’).
