reach and work all the controls. For example, can
they turn the handlebars all the way to the right
and left? Can they easily use their feet to work the
brake pedal and gearshift lever? Can they operate
the throttle and brake levers while they hold onto
the handgrips? If not, the youngster is not physically
ready to ride this OHM. Refer to the owner’s manual
to check for possible adjustments in the position of
some of the controls.

the qualities necessary to operate an off-highway
motorcycle safely.
PHYSICAL DEVELOPMENT
Physical size and ability are important
considerations. For example, a youngster must be
big enough to hold the motorcycle up, get on, and
comfortably sit on the seat with both feet touching
the ground.
