12.36 Checking the frame

Check the frame for damage, cracking, and deformation.
» If the frame shows signs of damage, cracking, or deformation:

Change the frame.

12.38 Checking the throttle cable routing
Preparatory work
–
Remove the seat. ( p. 60)

Remove the fuel tank. ( p. 66)

Main work
–
Check the throttle cable routing.
Both throttle cables must be routed, side by side, on the back of
the handlebars and above the fuel tank bracket, to the throttle
valve body. Both throttle cables must be secured behind the rub-
ber strap of the fuel tank support.
» If the throttle cable is not routed as specified:
–
Correct the throttle cable routing.
Finishing work
–
Install the fuel tank. ( p. 67)

Mount the seat. ( p. 60)
