Information for environmental protection/
disposal
The disposal instructions are provided on pictograms that
are applied to the device or the packaging.
Dispose of the machine properly after it is worn out. Dis
-
connect the mains cable in order to prevent misuse. Do
not dispose of the machine with the household waste. In
the interest of environmental protection, take it to a coll
-
ection point for electric machines. Your responsible local
authority can provide you with addresses and operating
times. Also take the packaging materials and worn out
accessories to the appropriate collection points.
Only for EU countries
Do not discard electric tools in the household
waste!
In accordance with European Directive 2012/19/EC on
waste electrical and electronic equipment and its im
-
plementation in national law, waste electric tools must
be collected separately for environmentally-compatible
re-use.
Recycling alternative to the return invitation:
Instead of returning the electric equipment, the owner is
alternatively obligated to take part in the proper recycling
in the case of relinquishment of ownership. The waste
equipment can also be taken to a collection facility which
disposes of it in the sense of the national recycling ma
-
nagement and waste acts. This does not pertain to the
accessory parts and auxiliary equipment without elec
-
trical components accompanying the waste equipment.
Dispose of the batteries in an environmentally friend
-
ly manner
Li-ion batteries are subject to the special dis
-
posal obligation. Have any defective batteries
disposed of by a specialised shop.
The battery must be taken out before the appli
-
ance is scrapped.
Have any defective battery disposed by a spe
-
cialised shop.
Any damaged or disposed devices must be deli
-
vered to appropriate collection centres.
Damaged batteries may harm the environment
and your health if toxic vapours or liquids leak
out of such batteries.
Therefore, never send a defective battery by post, etc.
Please contact your local recycling centre.
Dispose of the batteries when discharged. We recom
-
mend applying an adhesive tape on the poles to protect
them against short circuit. Never open the battery.
Transport packaging disposal
The packaging protects the machine against damage
during transport. Packaging materials are usually chosen
based on environment aspects and waste treatment
principles and are therefore recyclable. Returning the
packaging into material circulation saves raw materials
and reduces waste production. Parts of packagings (e.g.
foils, styropor
®
) can be dangerous for children.
Risk of suffocation!
Keep parts of the packagings out of reach of children and
dispose them as soon as possible.
