Discharge the rechargeable battery by operating the tool at idle until the motor stops.

Take the rechargeable battery out of the tool.
Defective accumulators should be recycled!

Never throw batteries onto a fire.
Never throw the rechargeable battery into water.
Do not expose batteries to temperatures above 40ºC.
