7.1  XM WX SATELLITE WEATHER

 NOTE: 

XM WX Satellite Weather is only available with the optional GDU 

375.

XM DATALINK WEATHER ADVISORY

Each time the system powers-up, the pilot is prompted to acknowledge an XM 

datalink weather advisory.

Press the 

ENT

 Key to acknowledge this information.

Before XM WX Satellite Weather can be used, the service must be activated by 

calling SiriusXM at 1.800.985.9200.  Service is activated by providing SiriusXM 
Satellite Radio with a Radio ID.  SiriusXM Satellite Radio uses the Radio ID to 
send an activation signal that allow the G300 to display weather data and/or 
entertainment programming.  SiriusXM service should activate in 45 to 60 minutes.

Activating XM WX Satellite Weather (GDU 375 only):

1) 

The Radio ID can be displayed by accessing the XM Audio Page, and 
pressing the 

INFO

 Softkey.  Record the Radio ID for reference during 

XM Activation.
