5.2.7 MOUNTING THE TRANSPORT HANDLE
The carry handle is designed to have two positions.
Vertical position for storage and diagonal position for
transport.
• If you are going to store your machine use the first
holes as shown in figure 1. Place the carrying handle
in the vertical position and then insert the pin and fix
it with the clip.
• If you are going to transport the machine, use the
second holes as shown in figure 3. Place the handle
in a diagonal position and then insert the pin and fix it
with the clip.

5.3. START-UP
5.3.1. PLACEMENT OF THE MACHINE
Make sure you install the machine on a stable surface
and in a vertical position in an area away from a wall
and where you will have enough room to be able to
work.
5.3.2. CHECKPOINTS BEFORE COMMISSIONING
The voltage and current supply must comply with the
indications on the rating plate. Before starting work,
make sure that the appliance operates correctly and
its operation is safe.
Do not use machine is if it is damaged or incorrectly
regulated.
Use this machine for the purpose for which it was
designed. Any other use may be dangerous for the
user, for the machine and for persons, animals and
things that may be around.
Check:
- The machine completely and look for loose and
damaged parts (screws, nuts, etc.).
- That the moving parts of the machine are not in
contact with any other object.
Tighten, repair or replace everything you need before
using the machine.
Do not use any accessory on this machine outside of
those recommended by Garland since its use could
result in serious injury to the user, machine, and the
people, animals and things close to the machine.
Check the oil level and make sure that it is between
the two marks on the dipstick that can be found under
the oil plug (9) input. If it is below the lowest level you
should refill the oil.
Check that there are no oil leaks in the machine. If you
detect leaks bring your machine in for service.
Check the cable and the switch status. If you notice
any abnormalities do not start the machine and take it
in for service.
