Malfunctions
Motor does not start
Causes: Remedy:
No mains voltage Check voltage
Pump wheel blocked, temperature con-
trol switched device off
Take pump apart and clean
Pump is not sucking in
Causes: Remedy:
Suction valve not submersed in water Submerge suction valve in water
Pump chamber without water Fill water into suction connection
Air in the suction line Check tightness of suction line
Suction valve untight Clean suction valve
Suction basket (suction valve) clogged Clean suction basket
Max. suction height exceeded Check suction height
Insufficient transport volume
Causes: Remedy:
Excess suction height Check suction height
Suction basket dirty Clean suction basket
Water level drops rapidly Place suction valve in a lower position
Pump output reduced by foreign matter Clean pump and replace wear and tear
parts
Temperature switch switches pump off
Causes: Remedy:
Motor overloaded, friction through
foreign matter too high
Dismantle and clean pump, prevent
sucking in foreign matter (filter)
Attention! The pump may not run dry!
