Initial commissioning
• Place the domestic water pump on a level and horizontal spot.
• To avoid vibrations, the device should not be screwed down but placed on an elastic
mat.
• Fill the pump housing on the pressure line connection with water. Filling the suction
line speeds up the suction process.
• Tightly connect the suction and pressure line.
• Close the pressure line
• Connect the pump. The suction process may take up to 5 minutes with a maximum
suction height.
• The pump switches off when reaching the cut-off pressure of 3 bar.
• After the pressure drops through water consumption, the pump starts up automatically
(activation pressure approx. 1.5 bar).
• The installation site should be well aired and protected from weather influences.
Maintenance
• The domestic water pump is largely maintenance-free. To ensure a long service life,
however, we recommend regular checking and maintenance.
• Attention! The domestic water pump is to be deenergised before any
maintenance work, meaning that the power plug should be disconnected
from the outlet.
• Prior to longer periods of inactiveness or during the winter, the pump is to be rinsed
thoroughly with water, drained completely and stored in a dry place.
• In case of pending frost, the domestic water pump must be drained completely.
• After longer periods of non-use, check whether the rotor still turns effortlessly by
briefly switching the pump on and off again.
• In case of possible clogging of the domestic water pump, connect the pressure line
to the water pipe and take the suction hose off. Open the water pipe. Switch the
pump on repeatedly for approx. two seconds. In most cases, this method clears any
clogging.
• There is an expandable water bag in as well as an air chamber in the pressure
container, whose pressure should be at most around 1.3 bar. If water is pumped into
the bag now, it expands and increases the pressure in the air chamber up to the
cut-off pressure. If the air pressure is low, it should be raised again. To do so, unscrew
the plastic cover on the container and add the missing pressure via a tyre inflator.
Replacing the mains power line
Attention! Disconnect the device from the mains. A defect mains power line may
only be exchanged by an electrician.
