• If the cable or the plug is damaged due to outside influences, the cable may not be
repaired! The cable must be exchanged! Only electricians may perform this work.
• The voltage of 230 V/DC indicated on the type plate of the domestic water pump
must correspond to the available mains voltage.
• Never lift, transport or attach the domestic water pump by its cable.
• Make sure that the electric plug connection is located in a spot that is safe from
flooding and protect it from moisture.
• Pull the mains plug prior to any work on the domestic water pump.
• Make sure that the domestic water pump is not subjected to direct jets of water.
• It is the duty of the operator to observe the local safety and installation regulations.
(Ask an electrician if you are not sure)
• The operator must prevent consequential damage due to flooding of rooms in case
of faults in/on the domestic water pump (e.g. installation of an alarm system, back-up
pump, or similar).
• Should the domestic water pump fail, it may only be repaired by an electrician.
Durability
• The maximum temperature of the conveyed liquid may not 35 °C in
permanent operation.
• It is not permitted to convey flammable, gaseous or explosive liquids with this pump.
• Conveying aggressive liquids (acids, lye, percolating juice, etc.) as well as liquids with
abrasive substances (sand) should also be avoided.
Operating instructions
We recommend using a suction set with suction hose, suction basket and check valve in
order to prevent long re-starting times and avoidable damage to the pump caused by
rocks and solids.
Electric connection
• The electricity is connected on an earthed socket (230 V ~ 50 Hz). Fuse at least
10 Ampere.
• The integrated temperature controller protects the motor from overloading or
blocking. In case of overheating, the temperature controller shuts the pump off
automatically. Once it has cooled down, the pump starts up again by itself.
