− For detailed information, please refer to the separate user manual for the motor.
WARNING!
Risk of explosion and fire!
Fuel may leak out if you put the lawn mower on its side with a filled fuel tank.
This could cause an explosion or a fire.
− Use a petrol suction pump to completely remove fuel from the lawn mower’s
fuel tank before putting the lawn mower on its side to change the oil.
1. Have a container ready to collect the used oil.
2. Tilt the mower to the right in the direction of the oil tank.
3. Remove the oil tank cap with oil dipstick (Symbol

to drain the old motor
oil into the designated container (see
Fig. A
)
4. Add the motor oil (please see information provided in the separate user manual
for the motor). The oil tank can hold up to 0.44 l and must not be overfilled. Be very
careful when adding oil to the tank and make sure not to spill any motor oil.
To check the oil level, first completely close the oil tank by using the oil tank cap
with the oil dipstick and then screw it off again:
The oil level must be in the upper area between the two markings on the oil
dipstick.
5. Put the oil tank cap with oil dipstick back on and turn it clockwise by hand.
6. Start the motor as described in the chapter “Starting the motor” and let it run for a bit.
7. Switch off the motor.
8. Wait until the motor has cooled down.
9. Use the oil dipstick to test the oil level once again and then add more motor oil if
necessary.
