− Always mow horizontally to the slope when on sloped terrain; never up
or down slopes. For safety reasons, do not mow slopes with an incline
greater than 20°.
− Be extra cautious when you change the mowing direction on sloped terrain.
− Stop the cutting blade when you need to tilt the lawn mower to push it
across areas other than grass and when you move the lawn mower to and
from the area to be mowed.
− If the cutting blade comes into contact with stones or other hard objects,
stop the motor immediately and wait until the cutting blade stops moving.
Then inspect the cutting blade for damage.
− If the lawn mower starts to vibrate heavily or if it starts making strange
noises or starts smelling, immediately switch off the lawn mower’s motor
and unplug the ignition cable. Have a qualified professional check the
lawn mower before you use it again.
− Do not start the lawn mower’s motor indoors or in poorly ventilated areas.
The engine exhaust is poisonous and can cause suffocation.
− National and/or local regulations may restrict the use of noisy power
equipment. Ask your municipal administration for further information.
− Due to the risk of forest fire, make sure you have a fire-extinguishing
agent nearby when working in a dry and flammable (dry grass, bushes,
etc.) environment.
− Take care to keep a normal body position. Maintain a stable stance and
balance at all times.
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
If safety symbols on the device are illegible or missing, this may increase the
risk of injury.
− Make sure the safety signs on the lawn mower are clean and legible.
− Replace safety signs if they are illegible or missing.
− If you use spare parts, make sure to put the corresponding safety signs on
them as well.
− Please contact the manufacturer to get safety signs for replacement parts,
if necessary.
