Using the lawn mower
DANGER!
Risk of fire and explosion!
Petrol is highly flammable. Accidentally spilled fuel may catch on fire when you
start up the lawn mower. There is a risk of fire and explosion!
− Make sure to carefully wipe up any fuel which has been accidentally spilled.
− Only start up the lawn mower when it is at least 9 metres away from
where you filled it up.
DANGER!
Risk of poisoning!
Exhaust gases contain toxic ingredients. A risk of poisoning exists if you inhale
high concentrations of gases.
− Never start the motor indoors or in poorly ventilated areas.
WARNING!
Risk of injury!
The cutting blade is very sharp. You could be severely injured by it.
− Keep your hands and feet away from the cutting blade!
WARNING!
Risk of strangulation and injury!
A risk of suffocation, being scalped and/or injury exists if loose-fitting clothing,
jewellery or hair gets caught in the lawn mower’s moving parts.
− Keep loose clothing, jewellery or long hair away from the mower’s moving
parts.
− Wear sturdy shoes with a non-slip tread and tight, long trousers. Do not
operate the lawn mower barefooted or in light sandals. Avoid wearing
loose clothing or clothes with dangling strings or ties.
