perate the lift so that the platform is about 18 inches (750 mm) above the lower
landing and remove the platform walls and the platform. Do not stress the drive system.
For units that cannot be operated, find a way to support the carriage and platform so
that they are high enough to allow you to remove the platform walls and the platform.
Remove the mast covers and support the carriage so that you can access the Drive nut
assembly easily.
Disassemble the Drive nut and
Safety nut assembly. See
