To explain this concept, consider the following diagram where no Alarm Holdoff Time is
configured:

In this detection scenario, the person enters the zone 3 times. At each point an alarm is
raised, resulting in a total of 3 alarms. With the Alarm Holdoff Time configured, it's possible
to prevent re-triggering of the same rule for the same object within the configured time
period. Consider the same scenario, but with an Alarm Holdoff Time of 5 seconds configured:
