Establishing a connection to the console module
Transmission 1|Tx:
Insert the LC plug of a fibre optic cable, which is available as
accessory, into this interface. Connect the other end to the
Transmission|Rx
interface
of the console module or to one of the
Dynamic Ports
of a compatible matrix (see
page 5).
Transmission 1|Rx: Insert the LC plug of a fibre optic cable, which is available as
accessory, into this interface. Connect the other end to the Transmission|Tx interface
of the console module or to one of the Dynamic Ports of a compatible matrix (see
page 5).
IMPORTANT: The devices use components with laser technology which comply
with laser class 1.
Never stare directly into the beam when wearing optical instruments!
NOTE: Remove the protection caps from the Transmission interfaces and from the
cable plug.
NOTE: The activation of the
Transm. Redundancy
feature activates the
Transmission 2
interface.
To use the
Transmission 2
interface, you need an additional SFP transceiver.
Choose the right
SFP transceiver
for your variant of the
VisionXS-F-DP-UHR
series.
The
Transm. Redundancy options
contain both, a corresponding
SFP transceiver
and the
Transm. Redundancy
feature.
Use the
Transmission 2
interface to establish a connection with a second counter-
part.
