IMPORTANT INFORMATION
WARNING: do not use this appliance near baths, washbasins or other
containers full of water! Never immerse the appliance in water! Do not use
it with wet hands!
Pull the plug out of the electricity socket without pulling on the cable. Do not use the
product if the cable or other parts appear to be damaged. If the power cable is damaged
it must be replaced by the manufacturer or by its technical service personnel or in any
case by a similarly qualified person, in order to avoid any risks. This appliance may be used
by children over 8 years-old and by people with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capacities or by people without experience and knowledge provided that they are
supervised and instructed on safe use of the appliance and made aware of the hazards.
Cleaning and maintenance must not be carried out by children without supervision.
Further protection may be provided by integrating safety device against fault currents,
with a rated tripping current no higher than 30 mA, into your home wiring system. We
advise you to contact a qualified electrician for further information. The safety of these
electrical appliances complies with the recognised technical rules and with the law on
safety of electrical appliances. In order to guarantee optimum operation in total safety, if
the appliance has been dropped or violently hit, have it checked at an authorised service
centre.

The class II or Double Insulation symbol indicates that this product is
designed in such a way that it does not need to be earthed. These products
are made in such a way as to prevent users from coming into contact with
hazardous voltages as a result of one single malfunction, since the housing
is made in insulating material.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

Check that the mains voltage corresponds to the one stated on the technical data plate
of the appliance.
• Always unplug the appliance after use.
• If the appliance is used in a bathroom, disconnect it from the electricity supply after use
since the vicinity of water may be a hazard even when the appliance is switched off.
• Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Do not touch the appliance if it falls into any liquid.
• Use the appliance only for the purpose for which it is intended; do not use it on wigs
or animal hair. The manufacturer declines all liability with regard to improper use of
the appliance.
• Caution, danger of burns, do not touch the heating elements during use.
• Keep out of reach of children. Children should not use or play with the appliance.
• Do not leave handkerchiefs or similar items close to the appliance.
• The power cable must never come into contact with the appliance.

Do not wind the cable around the appliance to avoid damage to the
cable itself and all risks deriving from such damage.
To avoid injury and hazards due to incorrect use, strictly observe and keep
the usage instructions. If the product is subsequently sold to a third party,
the instruction booklet must also be given to the purchaser.
This product must NOT be disposed of as unsorted urban waste, but must be
disposed of by separated waste collection according to the laws in force.
