V. MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the plug of the power cord out
of the socket! Clean the toaster only when it has cooled down!
Clean the appliance
regularly after each use. Do not use rough and aggressive detergents (e.g.
sharp objects,
peelers, caustic agents for cleaning ovens, or other solvents
). Do not use any
pressure-cleaning appliance (e. g.
dishwasher, WAP, steam cleaners
)! For cleaning the
cover, use detergents for cleaning plastic surfaces. Clean the surface by wiping it with a soft
and wet cloth. It is normal that the colour of the surface changes in the course of time. This
change does not change the features of the surface in any way and thus is not a reason for
sales return of the appliance!
• Do not immerse the appliance or the cord in water or any other liquid.
Locking clip and its exchange
If the locking clip is damaged it can be replaced. There is one spare clip in the package.
Remove the damaged clip from the axis using a strong tool such as knife or screwdriver.
New clip just strike on the axis of the sandwich body.
