Disconnect  the  appliance  from  the  electricity  mains
before  carrying  out  any  work  on  the  water
connection.

Do  not  immerse  the  AquaStop  valve  in  water.

The  water  connection  must  only  be  installed  by  a
qualified  plumber  and  in  accordance  with  local
legislation  and  regulations  governing  water  quality.

Note!

Do  not  kink,  pinch,  modify  or  cut  through  the  outlet
hose  or  the  freshwater  hose  with  AquaStop  valve.
Otherwise,  their  strength  and  operational  reliability
would  no  longer  be  guaranteed.

The  water  connections  can  be  on  the  right  or  lefthand
side  of  the  appliance.

During  installation  of  the  water  connection,  the
permissible  installation  zones  of  the  water  lines  must  be
taken  into  consideration.

The  following  illustration  shows  the  possible  connection
zones  with  a  hose  length  of  2.3  m.

With  a  hose  length  of  up  to  6  m,  the  outlet  connection
must  be  installed  no  higher  than  1  m.

With  a  hose  length  of  over  6  m,  the  maximum
installation  height  decreases  by  0.1  with  each  additional
metre.

The  outlet  hose  has  a  plugtype  connection  and  can  be
connected  to  a  3/4inch  thread  using  the  supplied
coupling  piece.

A  hose  extension  (2.3  m  long)  and  a  reducer  for
connecting  to  a  1inchconnection  can  be  ordered  as
accessories.  See  "Tools  and  accessories".

Note!

The  outlet  connection  on  the  appliance  has  no
check  valve.  If  connected  incorrectly,  there  is  a  risk
of  flooding  caused  by  returning  waste  water.  Do  not
connect  the  appliance  to  the  drainage  system  in
conjunction  with  other  appliances,  e.g.  using  a
Tpiece.  The  outlet  connection  of  the  appliance
must  not  be  lower  than  the  wastes  of  other
appliances.
Always  connect  the  appliance  directly  to  the
drainage  system  and  above  the  wastes  of  other
appliances,  e.g.  dishwashers.

A  coldwater  connection  is  required  for  operation  of  the
automatic  ice  maker.  The  water  pressure  must  be
between  1  and  10  bar.  A  pressure  reducing  valve  must
be  fitted  if  the  water  supply  pressure  is  over  10  bar.  The
automatic  ice  maker  is  inoperable  with  a  water  pressure
of  below  1  bar.

A  separate  stop  valve  must  be  installed  in  the
freshwater  supply  line.

The  stop  valve  must  not  be  located  behind  the
appliance.  It  is  recommended  that  the  stop  valve  be
fitted  directly  next  to  the  appliance  or  in  another  easily
accessible  area.

The  freshwater  hose  has  a  3/4inchconnection.

A  hose  extension  (2.3  m  long)  and  a  reducer  for
connecting  to  a  1inchconnection  can  be  ordered  as
accessories.  See  "Tools  and  accessories".

In  order  not  to  affect  the  taste  of  the  water,  only  original
hose  extensions  are  permitted  to  be  used.  These  are
neutral  to  taste  and  are  food  safe.
