Once the time is up
Once the time is up, the element will turn off. You will
hear a beep.
The

indicator will blink on the element display and
‹‹
will appear on the timer display.
Turn off the indicators and the display beep by
touching
M
.
Correcting the time
Select the desired cooking element and then touch
the
M
symbol. Change the time using the knob.
Canceling Cook Time
Select the desired cooking element and then touch
the
M
symbol. Then turn the knob until
‹‹
is
displayed. The
s
indicator will go off.
Note:
‒
You can set a cook time of up to 90 minutes.
‒
Select an element to view the remaining cook
time.
‒
After a power outage, the timer function will be
cancelled.
Kitchen Timer
The timer can be set for periods of up to 90 minutes. It
is independent of the other settings. This function
does not automatically switch off an element.
Setting the Kitchen Timer
The cooktop should be turned on.

Touch the

Program the time using the knob.
The kitchen timer starts to count down after a few
seconds.
Once the time has elapsed
A beep will sound.

blinks on the timer display.
Touch the

symbol to make the indicators and the
beep go out.
Changing the time
Touch the

symbol and change the time with the
knob.
Canceling the time
Touch the
M
symbol and then turn the knob until

appears on the timer display.
Notes

The timer will be deactivated after a power
outage.
‒
The automatic off function for an element and the
timer function can both be operated
simultaneously.
Automatic time limitation
The automatic time limitation function is activated if
the element is used for prolonged periods without any
modifications being made.
The element stops heating. The residual heat indicator
lights up on the element display.
When the automatic time limitation function is
activated, this is controlled by the selected heat
setting (from 1 to 10 hours).
