7.3 Setting emergency numbers:

You can indicate with each number whether or not this number shall be
called in case of an emergency. You can also indicate the order here. You
can change these settings always (see chapter 5.6).
7.4 Silent alarm on or silent alarm off:
Depending on your situation, you can set the FX-3850 to silent alarm on or
silent alarm off. Read the descriptions below carefully, and determine the
kind of alarm that fits best with your situation.
Silent alarm off:
1. Firstly, a loud alarm tone sounds from the loudspeaker of your FX-3850
for 30 seconds. No emergency number is dialed yet, but maybe persons
in your direct vicinity can offer help.
2.
After the local alarm, you hear that the first emergency number is di
-
aled, and directly after that, you hear the emergency message. If the
called emergency number is busy or not at home, this emergency mes-
sage is played for 1 minute before the next number is dialed.
3. In case the called emergency number answers and presses key 0, you
will have a handsfree sound connection for three minutes to discuss the
situation.
4. Depending on the situation, the care worker can enter a certain code
now; see for this paragraph 7.5.
