10 WARNINGS AND USER TIPS
10.1 System check:
• It is of great importance that you regularly test the alarm function of the
remote control(s) and of the phone, preferably once a month, at a fixed
time. At this, take care that the red indicator light on the remote control
illuminates clearly (if the indicator light illuminates weakly, replace the
battery). Do not forget to inform the called people that it concerns a test.
10.2 General:
• Carefully read the user’s manual and follow all directions.
• Always remove the telephone plug from the adapter from the wall sock-
et before cleaning the device.
• Never install or use the telephone in wet or moist rooms or environ-
ments. This does not apply to the waterproof remote control.
• Ensure adequate heat dissipation; never cover the telephone nor place
it directly next to a heat source.
• Take care of proper heat dissipation; never cover the phone and/or the
power supply adapter(s), and do not place them directly beside a heat
source. Use only the included adapter(s); connecting another type of
adapter may cause damage to the electronics.
• Take care that the cable of the phone and the adapter do not get dam-
aged, and prevent that they cause tripping or falling.
• Never dismantle the phone and/or the power adapter. This may only be
done by qualified personnel.
