Silent alarm on:
1. After pressing the red SOS key on the remote control or on the phone
for more than one second, the first emergency number is dialed IMME
-
DIATELY. So NO local alarm will sound.
2. You do not hear that a number is dialed, and you do NOT hear that your
emergency message is played.
3. If the called emergency number is busy or not at home, the next emer-
gency number is called.
4. In case the called emergency number answers, they shall enter the
code 0-1-2 or 0-1-6. At that moment, a handsfree audio connection
is established, and you can discuss your situation, or the called care
worker can listen to the situation at your home.
5. Depending on the situation, the care worker can enter a follow-up code;
see for this the next paragraph.
Enabling or disabling the silent alarm:
Press the key
MENU
10 times.
display: [QUIET SETTING]
Press the key
OK
; the display will show
[QUIET ON] or [QUIET OFF].
Choose the desired alarm, and press the key
OK
.
Return to the idle mode of the phone
