• Verify proper strip length against the
strip template shown below.
• Carefully unravel the aramid braid
with a pointed instrument.
• When the yarns are unravelled,
cut them as closely to the
cable outer jacket as possible.
Slide scissors or other pointed
object in this direction, carefully
unravelling as many yarns at a
time as is manageable without
creating a knot.
