Key start
1.
Follow steps 1 to 2 in the
“Preparing to start”
section on
the previous page.
2.
From the “ON” position turn the engine switch (18)
to the “START” position (Fig. 14).
3.
After the engine starts, release the key and it will revert to
the “ON” position (Fig. 15). The engine should continue
running.
4.
When using the key start method, make sure that you
also use the key to turn the engine off after operation (not
the remote control).
Note: Pressing and holding the emergency stop (24) button will stop the generator from all
starting modes.
Remote start
1.
Follow steps 1 to 2 in the
“Preparing to start”
section on the page 15.
2.
Make sure that the remote control switch (17) is in the “I” or “ON” position (Fig. 16).
3.
Point the remote control (7) in the direction of the generator. Press the start button once,
then press and hold it until the generator is started.
4.
When using the remote start method, make sure that you use the remote control stop
button to turn the engine off after operation (not the key) (Fig. 17), or set the remote
control switch to off (Fig. 16).
