Install a controller as described in the
section "Installing expansion cards" on
page 73

CAUTION!
Make sure that the connector side with the blank pins is facing the board.
Otherwise you risk short-circuits.
Ê
Route the BBU cable in the cable clamps and connect it to the controller.

In case of a configuration with two BBUs:
Ê
Install a further controller.
Ê
Route the BBU cable in the cable clamps and connect it to the controller.
Ê
Reinstall system fan 2 (or 2&4) as described in the
section "Installing system
fan 2 (or 2&4)" on page 108
.
Ê
Close the server, connect it to the power outlet, and switch it on as described
in the
chapter "Completion" on page 107
.

Installing BBU (BBU fixation 2)
You can install up to two Battery Backup Units (BBU).
