CAUTION!
Never not try to fix bent contact springs. Doing so may result in loss
of electrical performance and reliability.
Removing heat sinks and processors from the defective system board
module

Remove the heat sinks on the defective system board as described in
section
"Removing the processor heat sink" on page 240

Carefully remove the processors from their sockets on the defective system
board as described in section
"Removing the processor" on page 244

CAUTION!
Remove and reinstall one processor at a time. Do not remove the
second processor from the defective system board until the first
processor has been installed on the new system board.
