System expansions for rack server
Because the internal design of tower servers and rack servers is identical, this chapter only covers
the activities which differ from those for the tower server. These include opening and closing the
server and the installation and removal of accessible drives. On the other hand, please read the
corresponding chapters in "

" when you wish to carry out the

Pull all power plugs out of the power outlets

If the SCSI cables of the server are routed in a limited cable guide, then remove the SCSI
cables from the rack cable guides (see "
Mounting cable guides and routing cables
" in the
section "
").
