Preface
ABOUT THIS GUIDE
The LifeBook P5000/P5000D Series notebook is a
completely self-contained unit with an active-matrix
(TFT) color LCD display. It has a powerful interface that
enables it to support a variety of optional features.
The LifeBook P Series notebook from Fujitsu PC Corpo-
ration is a small but powerful computer. It is powered
by a Mobile Intel Pentium M processor, has a built-in
color display, and brings the functionality of desktop
personal computers (PCs) to a portable environment.
This manual explains how to operate your LifeBook
notebook’s hardware and built-in system software. Your
notebook is compatible with the IBM® PC AT.
It comes with Microsoft Windows® 2000, Windows XP
Home, or Window XP Pro pre-installed.
