Removing a non-accessible 2½ inch drive 

 

Requirements:  

●

 

You have made certain that the drive to be removed has not been combined in a RAID array.  If 
the drive is part of a RAID array, you must first of all delete the array.

Further information on configuration of the optional RAID controller can be found in the 
appropriate documentation on the "Drivers & Utilities" DVD or on the Internet at 
http://ts.fujitsu.com/support.

CAUTION! 
All the data on all the drives in the array will be lost. Perform a backup before you delete a 
RAID array. 

 

 

 

 

►

 

To release the locking mechanism of the drive, press together the two green tabs of the locking 
lever. 

►

 

Swing the grip of the drive fully in the direction of the arrow (1).  

The drive is released. 

►

 

Pull out the drive (2).
