Compressor
Does not start up
Diagnosis method of Compressor (If Outdoor Unit LED displays Error, refer to Trouble shooting 13 to 48)
Replace Compressor
Is any Indoor Unit in operation?
* If it is operated right after stopping
operation, 3 minutes start-up protection
by differential pressure is kicked on.
Stops soon after starting up
Abnormal noise
Check power supply voltage,open
fuse.
Is there open or loose connection
cable?
Check power supply voltage,open
fuse.
Is there open or loose connection
cable?
In case of constant speed compressor, check connection
and winding resistance.(Check if Protector is operated) Refer to
the next page.
In case of inverter compressor, check Filter PCB, Inverter
PCB, connection of Compressor, and winding resistance. (Refer
to the next page).
>> If there is no failure, the defect of Compressor can be
considered. (Compression part broken or valve defective.)
In case of constant speed

In case of inverter compressor, check
Filter PCB, Inverter PCB, connection of
Compressor, and winding resistance
(Refer to the next page).
>> If there is no failure, the defect of
Compressor is considered (Locked
compressor due to clogged dirt or
less oil)
Replace Compressor
Check if Refrigerant is leaking.
(Recharge Refrigerant)
Isn’t it Liquid Compression?
>> Check Low pressure value and if
it too high, check Indoor Unit.
(Indoor Unit EEV too much open, or
Indoor unit EEV that is not in
operation open.
Replace Compressor
Check power supply
voltage,open fuse. Is there
open or loose connection
cable?
Defective Compressor
can be considered.
(due to inside dirt clogging
or broken component)
Is Gas Pipe Valve open?
(Low Pressure is too low)
Check if Strainer is clogged.
