Installing and removing SmartCard reader

You can only install a SmartCard reader when there is a corresponding slot in the front of the
casing.

Ê

Open the casing (see "Closing the casing").

Installing a SmartCard reader for the first time

The SmartCard slot on the inside of the front panel is protected by a plastic tag when the device is
shipped.

Ê

Break off the plastic tag.

Replacing the SmartCard reader: Removing the bracket

Press the lock (1) and pull the bracket of the SmartCard reader upward in the direction of the
arrow out of the casing (2).
