Replacement routines
Replacing the non-hot-plug hard disk

Remove the two cables (1) from the SATA hard disk.

The SATA cable’s connector has a retaining catch which must be
pressed to pull it out. This is on the underside here and therefore
cannot be seen.
Ê
Loosen the hard disk housing’s knurled screw (2).
Ê
Pull the hard disk mounting assembly out.
Ê
Remove the hard disk from the mounting assembly by undoing the four
screws (see
).
Ê
Install the non-hot-plug hard disk following the above steps in reverse order.
Ê
Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see
the Options Guide).
