1.POWER
Problem The camera is not turned on. (Both AC power supply and the battery. )
Cause 1 The open fuse line and the transistor short-circuit were generated by the adhering solder ball on
DCST PWB ASSY.
Repair work DCST PWB ASSY:Removal of solder ball.
Replace of F501, F502, F503, and Q503.
Refer to the schematics for the position where each parts is mounted.
Cause 2 The open fuse line on DCST PWB ASSY was generated by the reverse-mounting the capacitor on
MAIN PWB ASSY.
Repair work MAIN PWB ASSY:Replace of C110.
DCST PWB ASSY:Replace of F504.
Refer to the schematics for the position where each parts is mounted.
Cause 3 The open fuse line and the transistor short-circuit were generated by the capacitor short-circuit on
DCST PWB ASSY.
Repair work DCST PWB ASSY:Replace of C528, F501, and Q503
Refer to the schematics for the position where each parts is mounted.
