Point the camera’s infrared port towards the front of the
camera’s infrared port (

p.12). Transmission distance
is about 5 to 20 cm (2 to 7.9 in.) within approx. 15°.

CAUTION
• Movie images cannot be transmitted.
• If [COMMUNICATION ERROR], [CANNOT BE
TRANSMITTED], or [CANNOT BE RECEIVED]
appears, press
p
or MENU/OK to retransmit the image
data, or press DISP/BACK to cancel transmitting.
• Do not place anything between the transmitting and
receiving device.
• Leaving the camera in direct sunlight or directly under
fluorescent lighting may prevent successful data
transfer.
• Successful transfer may not be possible when
transmitting near infrared transmission devices (such
as the remote controller of TV or VCR) or devices that
generate electrical noise.
• Correctly aim the infrared port towards the front of the
device or camera’s infrared port during image data
transmission.
MEMO
When playing back an image received from another
camera,
will appear in the LCD monitor.
