Peak and Hold PRO Injector Driver
Injector disconnected
This alert has special settings to detect a disconnected or faulty injector.
Marking the “check box” a new configuration tab will appear, which is divided
into two sections.
Minimum delay to detection: To detect a of the disconnected injector, the
Peak and Hold Pro Injector Driver needs the setting of a minimum detection time
(sufficient time to reach 25% of the Peak current). This time can be calculated
automatically when selecting
“Automatic” mode.
When changing injectors or changing the current configuration, it is necessary
to perform this calibration again by clicking on the “Recalibrate” button.
There is also a manual mode where the tuner sets the time in milliseconds for
this parameter.
IMPORTANT
The configured time when using manual mode must
necessarily be longer than the time needed to reach
25% of the peak current. Otherwise, false disconnected
injector detections may occur.
The status bar will show if the injector has been calibrated correctly.
If the status bar indicates “Error” a new calibration can be attempted by
clicking “Recalibrate” button. By clicking on this button all outputs configured
as “Automatic” mode will be recalibrated.
